Cashmere & Lace and Spring Rain

Cashmere & Lace: Sophisticated and Sensual fragrance that has powdery florals, soft spices and a subtle sweetness. Fragrance Notes include: saffron, pimento berries, white pepper, florals, patchouli, and vanilla. (Comparable to DK's Cashmere Mist)

UPDATE: Slight Name Change! Spring Rain: A refreshing ozony aroma with hints of lily of the valley, fresh hyacinth, and a top note of wisteria. Definitely has an outdoors in springtime character of fresh greenery along with the clean and delicately sweet florals.

Springtime is for New Scents and New Soaps!

Once again, there will be several new soaps and scents offered over the course of the next few weeks.

They will include:

Honey and Shea
- Now Available! Sweet golden honey with hints of fruity shea. This has a spa-like quality to it. Not overpowering, not too sweet. Light yet upscale.
Violet Shea - This one seems to have many layers of fragrance notes, as it truly stands in a class of it's own! Violet leaf with notes of Heliotrope, the rich fruity essence of Shea Butter, sweet Jasmine and alluring Amber.
Strawberry Patch - Ripened summer strawberries, picked at their peak of freshness with a hint of vanilla.

~Soap Suds Is Here~

Soap Suds
has just been added to the lineup of scented goats milk soaps and is also available in my lotions, 3-in-1 Sprays, Liquid Bath Soaps and Sugar Scrubs.

This one is so delicate, soft and clean and does remind me a bit of Philosophy's Pure Grace, although it is not intended to be a duplication.

~Labor Day ~

Once again, I cannot believe that August is over and fall will soon be upon us! Where did the summer go? Well, you can pretend with some "summery" soaps and scents from my shop - All available in a lotion, bath gel, 3-in-1 spray or sugar scrub as well:

-Sun and Sand Goats Milk Soap
-Summer Strawberries
-Pink Lemonade
-Tropical Coconut

Enjoy your Labor Day!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The First Labor Day

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.

In 1884 the first Monday in September was selected as the holiday, as originally proposed, and the Central Labor Union urged similar organizations in other cities to follow the example of New York and celebrate a "workingmen's holiday" on that date. The idea spread with the growth of labor organizations, and in 1885 Labor Day was celebrated in many industrial centers of the country.

Labor Day Legislation

Through the years the nation gave increasing emphasis to Labor Day. The first governmental recognition came through municipal ordinances passed during 1885 and 1886. From them developed the movement to secure state legislation. The first state bill was introduced into the New York legislature, but the first to become law was passed by Oregon on February 21, 1887. During the year four more states — Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York — created the Labor Day holiday by legislative enactment. By the end of the decade Connecticut, Nebraska, and Pennsylvania had followed suit. By 1894, 23 other states had adopted the holiday in honor of workers, and on June 28 of that year, Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday in the District of Columbia and the territories.

Holiday Scent Ideas and Returning Favorites

I was thinking about which scents and soaps I will bring back this fall as well as adding one more Christmas scent.

Planning to bring back this fall:

Candy Corn - this will hopefully have the 3 layered colors
Southern Pumpkin Pie
Gingerbread - in the shape of a gingerbread man
Headless Horseman

----------------------------------------------------------------
Which would you be interested in me offering? Or do you not have any interest in the typical holiday scents?

~Summer Soap~

I was considering bringing in one new soap just for the remainder of the summer - in limited quantities. As things are slowing down and the weather is warming up, it may be nice to offer something refreshing during this time of the year.

Ideas so far:

French Peach - (This was voted on months ago)
*Iced Tea Twist - Blend of Lemon, Orange, Tea Leaves, Sugar (B&BW Type)
Pink Lemonade - Blend of Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit
Raspberry Lemonade - Blend of Raspberry, Lemon, Sugar and Vanilla (B&BW Type)

So, which of these might you want me to add for the summer?

I will be closing this poll by the end of this week so if there is not enough interest, then none of these will be made at this time.
