Violet Shea - This one seems to have many layers of fragrance notes, as it truly stands in a class of it's own! Violet leaf with notes of Heliotrope, the rich fruity essence of Shea Butter, sweet Jasmine and alluring Amber.

Wishing Everyone a Blessed Easter and Passover

Oil and Food Coloring Marbled Eggs

Difficulty: Easy Parental supervision is recommended

Simple technique, wonderful results--this egg decorating craft requires no special materials except a child's imagination!

What you'll need:

• Eggs (hard boiled or raw)
• Food coloring
• Vinegar
• Cooking oil
• Containers for the dye mixture (mugs will work)
• Paper towels
• A few spoons

In each container combine one tablespoon of each of the following: oil, vinegar, and your choice of food coloring.

Add enough water to make the liquid deep enough to cover an egg.

Swirl the liquid with a spoon, and quickly lower and raise an egg into it.

Pat dry with a paper towel, and repeat with a second color.

Swirl into a third color, if desired. Some white areas can be left on the egg.

Gently pat dry the completed egg, leaving a bit of the oil to give the egg a varnished look.

Tips:

• This craft requires no special materials and produces beautiful results with very little effort. The eggs can be blown when completed, but the project is so simple that you might just discard the eggs and make a fresh batch each year.

Passover Rolls

These dinner rolls will be a welcome treat at the traditional Passover table. Adding beaten eggs to the dough makes these matzo rolls puff up like popovers fresh from the oven.

Ingredients

• 2 cups matzo meal
• 1-1/2 cups boiling water
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 4 eggs, beaten

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine matzo meal, water, oil, sugar, and salt. Mix well then let mixture cool.
3. Add eggs to the mixture. Drop rolls by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for one hour, checking to make sure they are golden brown and not burned.
